The Ouroboros and the Tree of Life
In some europe and norse mythology stories the ouroboros was believed to be the protector of the Tree of Life.
According to the Greek mythology for exapmple, a great and wise serpent who is called Ladon guards
the tree of the golden apples of the Hesperides.
