As a first step, the [[O2k-Fluorescence LED2-Module]] is available, which can be applied as an extension of the present [[O2k-Core]]. A multitude of fluorescent markers and filter sets enables determination of diverse mitochondrial processes in addition to oxygen consumption, including generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), ATP production, mitochondrial membrane potential and Ca<sup>2</sup><sup>+</sup>, extendable by user-specific applications.
