E-L coupling control factor

Description

The E-L coupling control capacity is the biochemical coupling efficiency; 1.0 for a fully coupled system. The LEAK state is stimulated to ETS by uncoupler titration. LEAK states LN or LT may be stimulated first by saturating ADP (state P) with subsequent uncoupler titration to state E.

Abbreviation: E-L CCC , Ξ”jE-L
