Description
Creatine is a nitrogenous organic acid that occurs naturally in vertebrates and helps primarily muscle cells to supply energy by increasing the formation of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
Abbreviation: Cr
Reference: Saks 2000 Acta Physiol Scand
Application in HRR
- Cr: Creatine (creatine monohydrate, C4H9N3O2*H2O ); M = 149.15 gยทmol-1; Sigma 27900, 100 g, store at RT.
- Preparation of MiR05Cr or MiR06Cr with 20 mM creatine:
- Caution: Prepare fresh everyday!
