Application in HRR (updated instructions)
- Azd: Azide (Sodium azide, NaN3); Sigma S2002, SDS 25 g, store commercial stock at RT; M = 65.01 gΒ·mol-1.
- 2021-02: The preparation instructions were updated to take the volume of the solute (Gp) into account. The concentrations prepared following the former instructions (see Discussion section) are sufficiently high for SUIT protocol titrations.
- Caution: Very toxic!
- Azd: Azide (Sodium azide, NaN3); Sigma S2002, SDS 25 g, store commercial stock at RT; M = 65.01 gΒ·mol-1.
- Preparation of 4 M storage and stock solution (1 mL, dissolved in H2O) for 2-mL O2k-chamber:
- Weigh 260 mg of sodium azide.
- Dissolve in 900 Β΅L H20.
- Divide into 0.5 mL portions.
- Store at -20 Β°C.

- Titration volume (2-mL O2k-chamber): β₯50 Β΅L using a 100 Β΅L Hamilton syringe.
- Final concentration: β₯100 mM.

- Add 400 Β΅L H2O.
