Polarization voltage

Description

A polarization voltage of 600 mV to 800 mV is applied between anode and cathode of the polarographic oxygen sensor, resulting in a current when oxygen is consumed. The current is converted by the electronics to a voltage (raw signal) which must not be confused with the polarization voltage.

Abbreviation: U

Reference: MiPNet19.18A O2k-Series G: Start

MitoPedia O2k and high-resolution respirometry: O2k hardware, DatLab

DatLab

The polarization voltage is set in DatLab in the O2k control window [F7] (MiPNet19.18A O2k-Series G: Start). The default value is 800 mV.
