Polarization voltage

Description

A polarization voltage of 600 mV to 800 mV is applied between anode and cathode of the polarographic oxygen sensor, resulting in a current when oxygen is consumed. The current is converted by the electronics to a voltage (raw signal) which must not be confused with the polarization voltage.

Abbreviation: U

MitoPedia methods: Respirometry, "DatLab" is not in the list (Respirometry, Fluorometry, Spectrophotometry) of allowed values for the "MitoPedia method" property. DatLab

DatLab

The polarization voltage is set in DatLab in the "Oxygraph-2k" \ "O2k-Control" window (MiPNet19.18A O2k-Start). The default value is 800 mV.
