Description
NV161/MitoKit-CII (diacetoxymethyl malonate) is a plasma membrane-permeable (p) prodrug that diffuses across the plasma membrane. Cleavage of diacetoxymethyl residues is mediated by intracellular esterases, thus releasing malonate in the intracellular space.
