OROBOROS (2012) Mitochondr Physiol Network

Abstract: The current development of OROBOROS INSTRUMENTS in collaboration with WGT leads to a next generation of high-resolution respirometry: the O2k-Fluorometer. The O2k-Fluorescence LED2-Module is a modular extension of the O2k-Core (Series D-F). A growing number of fluorescence markers enables determination of diverse mitochondrial processes in addition to oxygen consumption, including generation of H₂O₂, ATP production, mitochondrial membrane potential and Ca²⁺, extendable by user-specific applications. • Keywords: HRR, Fluorometry
