|abstract=The current development of OROBOROS INSTRUMENTS in collaboration with WGT leads to a next generation of high-resolution respirometry: the '''O2k-Fluorometer''' (K-Regio ''MitoCom Tyrol'') will combine the established oxygen measurement with simultaneous detection of [[Fluorophore|fluorophores]] in an integrated system. As a first step, the [[O2k-Fluorescence LED2-Module]] is available, which can be applied as an extension of the present [[O2k-Core]]. A multitude of fluorescent markers and filter sets enables determination of diverse mitochondrial processes in addition to oxygen consumption, including generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), ATP production, mitochondrial membrane potential and Ca<sup>2</sup><sup>+</sup>, extendable by user-specific applications.

Abstract: The current development of OROBOROS INSTRUMENTS in collaboration with WGT leads to a next generation of high-resolution respirometry: the O2k-Fluorometer. The O2k-Fluorescence LED2-Module is a modular extension of the O2k-Core (Series D-F).
