  • Conflicting votes cast by MC Members representing the same country will constitute a void vote unless the conflict is resolved before the end of the voting period.

Topic (1) MitoEAGLE flyer

The production of a flyer/folder and poster for dissemination purposes of our MitoEAGLE project is included in Grant Period 1 with 2,700.- EUR.
The Core Group discussed a specific offer of Impact Ltd to produce a 4-page flyer/leaflet, to be completed by March 2017 within the limits of our budget (without poster). Details and comments from the Core Group (and from another COST Action) to this offer are summarized here:

Topic (2) Training School in Obergurgl, Tyrol, AT in July 2017

In cooperation with the Mitochondrial Physiology Society a Training School will be organised in Obergurgl in 2017 July 23โ€“30. A reservation had to be made in advance. The Medical University Innsbruck will provide some financial support. Training Schools are an essential COST networking tool. The MiPschool falls into Grant Period 2, and the MC Meeting in Barcelona is too late for taking a decision: In this advance e-VOTE we ask you about your opinion to organize the 2017 July 23โ€“30 event as MiPschool 2017 โ€“ MitoEAGLE Science Camp. The structure is proposed as follows, with 70-120 participants at day 1-5, and 40-60 at day 5-8:
  • Day 1. Arrival training school
  • Day 2-4. Training school MiPsociety and MitoEAGLE: Day 2-3: Intoductory lectures on the mitochondrial electron transfer pathway (ET-pathway), coupling of electron transfer to proton translocation and phosphorylation (OXPHOS), mitochondrial pathways, respiratory protocols for diagnosis of mitochondrial function, mitochondrial respiratory control in health and disease. Day 4: Scientific lectures and student presentations.
  • Day 5. Departure school, arrival MitoEAGLE workshop, relaxing day for overall-participants
  • Day 6-7. MitoEAGLE Workshop: WG1-4.
  • Day 8. Departure MitoEAGLE
