MitoEAGLE

        • Benefits for COST and for the COST Action MitoEAGLE
I am Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayse Basak Engin from Gazi University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Toxicology, Ankara, Turkey. I was checking the recently accepted COST Action Projects through the web page. I am very much interested in your project as I am currently running a project related to mitochondrial oxidative stress and neurodegenerative disorders, mainly in vitro. I have worked with Prof. Dietmar Fuchs' lab for one year, in Innsbruck Medical University as an Erasmus Student and still every year I attend to Pteridine Workshop that is organized by Prof. Fuchs. I am Ph.D. in Toxicology and also Immunology. My research is mainly focused on oxidative stress, tryptophan metabolism, nanoparticles, neurodegenerative disorders, immunotoxicology. - Ayse Basak Engin (2016).
